Our wedding cakes are custom designed to fit your own personal style or you can bring us in a photo of your dream cake and we will recreate it for your special day.

Cake Consultation and Tasting

We offer cake consultations by appointment only.  Please allow one week advance notice.  During the consultation you will browse through our cake photos, and discuss your personal wedding cake ideas.  You will receive 5 cake samples of your choice.  There is a $10.00 advance fee for the cake samples which is refundable if you order your wedding cake from us.  Consultations usually take about 45 minutes.

Wedding Cake Ordering

We suggest that you order your cake as soon as the wedding date is set.  2-4 months is the average planning time we require.  We can create wedding cakes with one week notice but design choices are extremely limited.  Tiered wedding cakes require a minimum guest count of 50 people and start at $4 serving/50-100 guests-$3.00 serving/100+ guests.  We require a 1/3 deposit upon ordering, the final guest count one week prior to delivery, and final payment 2 days prior to delivery.  We accept cash, personal check (final payment must be made one week prior to delivery if paying by check), MasterCard,  Visa, or American Express.

Wedding Cake Delivery

Your wedding cake will be delivered at your wedding location at the time you or your location specifies.  We insist on delivering all of our wedding cakes (no pickups available) and will deliver anywhere in Illinois or Wisconsin for a fee.  Delivery charges vary by location.  Deliveries are scheduled on a first come first serve basis so please secure your date and time early.


Wedding Cake Types:

Chocolate Cake-Moist Cake with a rich, dark chocolate color.

Yellow Cake-Moist and light vanilla cake.

White Cake-Snow white mild vanilla cake.

Chocolate or Yellow Pound Cake- This cake is made with butter, sugar, flour, and sour cream and is much denser than our chocolate or yellow cakes. (Additional charge applies.)

Red Velvet Cake-Deep red in color and slightly dense like pound cake.  Best when filled and frosted with cream cheese icing.

Pumpkin Cake-A moist, light cake with pumpkin in the mix. This cake tastes best when filled and frosted with cream cheese icing.

Pineapple Cake-A moist cake with pineapple in the mix. This cake has a texture similar to carrot cake and tastes best when filled and frosted with cream cheese icing.

Carrot Cake-The moistest carrot cake you'll ever find. This cake is flavored with cinnamon and loaded with fresh, sweet, ground carrots. This cake is denser than our other flavors and tastes best when filled and frosted with cream cheese icing. We do not put nuts or raisins in the mix but will on request. (Additional charge applies).

Wedding Cake Frosting Options:

White Buttercream-Made the old fashioned way with real butter, sugar, milk, and just a touch of almond extract (the extract can be eliminated on request). Very rich.  EASY TO MAKE IN ANY COLOR AND STANDS UP TO DETAILED DECORATIONS.

Chocolate Buttercream- Dark and fudgy. Made the same way as the white buttercream with cocoa added.  STANDS UP TO DETAILED DECORATIONS.

Whipped Cream-We frost our cakes with real dairy whipped cream. The flavor is extremely light and not too sweet. These cakes must be refrigerated and decoration possibilities are limited.  DELICATE AND CAN ONLY BE MADE INTO PASTEL COLORS AND SIMPLE DECORATIONS.

Chocolate Whipped Cream-Same as above but with a touch of cocoa mixed in.  DELICATE AND CAN ONLY BE MADE INTO SIMPLE DECORATIONS.

Cream Cheese-A denser frosting made with whipped cream cheese and butter. Combines best with carrot, pumpkin, or pineapple cake.  EASY TO MAKE INTO ANY COLOR.  DOES NOT TRANSLATE TO CRISP DECORATING.

Rolled Fondant- Rolled fondant is a confectionary dough made from sugar. The texture is similar to that of marzipan but the flavor is much milder. Fondant is rolled out and molded over buttercream or cream cheese frosting to the shape of the cake giving it a porcelain like appearance. Rolled fondant adds elegance to any cake. There is a considerable additional charge for rolled fondant which varies according to cake size and desired decoration.
